ದಾವಣಗೆರೆ: ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಹೆದ್ದಾರಿ 48ರಲ್ಲಿ ಶುಕ್ರವಾರ ಕಾರೊಂದು ಲಾರಿಯ ಹಿಂಭಾಗಕ್ಕೆ ಡಿಕ್ಕಿ ಹೊಡೆದ ಪರಿಣಾಮ ಬಾಲಕನೊಬ್ಬ ಮೃತಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದು, ಆತನ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರು ಗಾಯಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ದಾವಣಗೆರೆ ಉತ್ತರ ಸಂಚಾರ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಪಘಾತ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದೆ. ಮೂವರು ಅನಗೋಡು ಗ್ರಾಮದ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತೆರಳಿ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗುವಾಗ ಡಿಕ್ಕಿ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದೆ ಎನ್ನಲಾಗಿದೆ.
A 15-year-old boy, identified as Sujan, died in a tragic road accident after leaving home telling his mother that he was going to play cricket.

Two other boys travelling with him were injured when the car they were in rammed into the rear of a lorry transporting compressed natural gas (CNG) on National Highway 48.
According to reports, Sujan went to his friend Aditya’s house after leaving home. Another person, identified as Ram Teja Reddy, was also present. The three reportedly decided to go for a joyride while Aditya’s parents were away.
Aditya took the keys to the Hyundai Creta parked at his house, and the three boys drove towards Anagodu village. The accident occurred while they were returning, when the car allegedly went out of control and crashed into the rear of the lorry.
Sujan died on the spot. Aditya sustained serious injuries, while the third boy escaped with minor injuries. The incident occurred within the jurisdiction of the Davanagere North Traffic Police Station.
The collision was reportedly captured by a CCTV camera installed in the lorry. The front portion of the car was severely damaged in the impact.
Sujan’s parents were devastated after learning about the accident and rushed to the scene. They were reportedly left shattered on seeing their son’s condition. Efforts to take him to the hospital proved futile.
The incident has once again highlighted the dangers of minors accessing and driving vehicles without adult supervision.
Parents are urged to keep vehicle keys out of children’s reach and ensure that minors do not drive without a valid licence and proper supervision.
Police are investigating the incident.

ಆದಿತ್ಯನ ಪೋಷಕರು ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಲ್ಲದ ವೇಳೆ ಮೂವರೂ ಕಾರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸುತ್ತಾಡಲು ನಿರ್ಧರಿಸಿದ್ದರು ಎನ್ನಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದ ಹ್ಯುಂಡೈ ಕ್ರೆಟಾ ಕಾರಿನ ಕೀಯನ್ನು ಆದಿತ್ಯ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಹಿಂದಿರುಗುವಾಗ ಕಾರು ನಿಯಂತ್ರಣ ತಪ್ಪಿ ಸಿಎನ್‌ಜಿ ಸಾಗಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಲಾರಿಯ ಹಿಂಭಾಗಕ್ಕೆ ಡಿಕ್ಕಿ ಹೊಡೆದಿದೆ ಎನ್ನಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಸುಜನ್ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲೇ ಮೃತಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದು, ಆತನ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರು ಡಿಕ್ಕಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಗಾಯಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಕ್ಯಾಮೆರಾದಲ್ಲಿ ದಾಖಲಾದ ಡಿಕ್ಕಿ
ಡಿಕ್ಕಿಯ ರಭಸಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಿನ ಮುಂಭಾಗ ತೀವ್ರವಾಗಿ ಹಾನಿಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಲಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಕ್ಯಾಮೆರಾದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಪಘಾತದ ದೃಶ್ಯ ದಾಖಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ವರದಿಯಾಗಿದೆ.
ಭಾರತೀಯ ನ್ಯಾಯ ಸಂಹಿತೆಯ ಸೆಕ್ಷನ್ 106ರ ಅಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕರಣ ದಾಖಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಮುಂದಿನ ತನಿಖೆ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಪೊಲೀಸರು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

The boy was allegedly driving the car at high speed when the accident occurred. He died on the spot, while his two friends, also minors, sustained serious injuries and were rushed to a hospital for treatment. One of them is said to be in critical condition.
Police said the boy’s parents were away when he went for a drive with his friends. The names of the deceased and the injured have not been disclosed as all three are minors.
The car was completely damaged in the collision, while the lorry also sustained damage, a senior police officer said.
A case has been registered under Section 106 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) at the local traffic police station. Further investigation is underway, police said.
