ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು: ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಗ್ರಾಮಾಂತರ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ದೊಡ್ಡಬಳ್ಳಾಪುರ ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ನಾಗದೇನಹಳ್ಳಿ ಸಮೀಪದ ಗೀತಂ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ 20 ವರ್ಷದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿನಿ ಮೃತಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಘಟನೆಯ ಸಂದರ್ಭಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ತನಿಖೆ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಸಾವಿನ ನಿಖರ ಕಾರಣ ಇನ್ನೂ ದೃಢಪಟ್ಟಿಲ್ಲ.
ಮೃತ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿನಿಯನ್ನು ಆಂಧ್ರಪ್ರದೇಶದ ಗುಂತಕಲ್ ಮೂಲದ ವರ್ಷಿತಾ ಎಂದು ಗುರುತಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಮೂಲವನ್ನು ಉಲ್ಲೇಖಿಸಿ ಎಎನ್‌ಐ ಈ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದೆ.

The deceased has been identified as Varshitha, a native of Guntakal in Andhra Pradesh. Varshitha had reportedly sent messages to her parents on her mobile phone, saying, "I love you, Dad. I love you, Mom." Sources indicate that Varshitha had been experiencing mental health difficulties over the past few days and was receiving treatment. She had reportedly not eaten for the previous two days. Suicide is suspected, but the exact cause of death is yet to be established.
Police personnel from the Doddaballapur Rural Police Station visited the spot and conducted an inspection. Further investigation into the incident is underway.
